Tulamben Beach

Pantai Tulamben · Bali, Indonesia

A diving mecca in eastern Bali. The wreck of the USS Liberty, sunk in 1942, lies 30m from shore at depths of 5-30m, making it a world-class shore dive site. It is used as a base for diving and snorkeling rather than for general swimming — boots are essential when entering the water on the gravel beach.
