The cape and lighthouse at the northernmost tip of Ishigaki Island. Selected among 'Japan's 50 Best Lighthouses' and the 'Hundred Landscapes of Japan.' Panoramic views of both the East China Sea and the Pacific Ocean. About a 1.5-hour drive from town, it is the endpoint of a northern Ishigaki drive. As a viewpoint rather than a beach, it is unsuitable for any in-water activities.
