A long white sand beach on the northwest coast of Kuroshima. As one of Japan's foremost sea turtle nesting sites (green, loggerhead, and hawksbill turtles), conservation activity is vigorous. During the nesting season (May-September), visitors are asked to refrain from entering at night or using lights. Quiet and also popular as a sunset spot.
